Honour and Remember
The Remembrance Day Ceremony has played a major role in Remembrance since 1931. Every year, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we gather in memorial parks, community halls, workplaces, schools and homes to stand in honour of all who have fallen. This year will look different in how we come together to show our respect, but it does not change how we feel and how grateful we are for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us. Together, we observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve.

Home & Healthcare Workers Assessment Line
An alternate phone line for COVID-19 initial assessments has been set up to ensure health-care workers are virus-free and able to safely provide care, reducing the demand on 811.
Home-care and long-term care providers can access this line. This line can be used as an alternative to calling 811 for assessments. This screening tool aligns with that of 811 and includes booking of appointments at screening centers as required.
Access the screening service by calling: 1-833-547-0059
Please note that the alternate assessment line is intended for screening purposes only.
The number above is dedicated to long term care, home support, and community based pharmacy.
